Well, Libi and Gypsy got adopted today! I'm sad because I miss them, but they went to a FANTASTIC home TOGETHER! I feel really good about these people and I'm happy they went home with them, but still. I miss the little rugrats running around here, and Libi crying for me to pick her up.

Fostering is hard!

Oh, you have my congratulations on your babies going to a new home! But also my condolences on missing them. I am still missing two of my fosters who were adopted recently. In fact, I have quit fostering because it got too painful!

I applaud your courage in doing this necessary work! Great job in finding new homes for your sweeties!

Under the cats, mostly.
It's always hard to let them go isn't it? But I think it would be much much harder if you didn't know where they were going....
Foster families are often underappreciated I think, because there are people who don't understand the work and eventual sadness it involves. But I'm so glad you did such a great job for them. BIG BIG hugs for you

Thanks guys. I cried yesterday at work for a few seconds, and then I fought my tears the rest of the night. It's hard, but I know they are happy, it just breaks my heart because they are probably wondering where their mommy is. And poor libi, only wanted to sit on my chest and sleep. *sniffle*. BUT it's better than the alternative (being euthanized) I know we saved 2 little lives.

But we're not fostering again until we get our house, because 1. the apts don't know we have kitties in the first place and 2. our next 2 fosters, we're adopting.

My fiance was so torn up over them, he still is, he gets REALLY attached REALLY fast.

But their new mommy told us she'd keep us updated, so I'm happy about that.
