Food question?

For some reason I thought that Nutro Natural & Royal Canin were made with chicken meat, but looking at the lable on my Nutro & the Royal Canin web-site. I see that they are made with Chicken meal. Are there any food made with just chicken meat? Also, I saw that the pet store I go to sells RAW food (I believe it's frozen) Is this as good as making it yourself?

Dont confuse Chicken meal for chicken by products (brains, bones etc.)

I am a big fan of Nutro and from what I understand there Chicken meal is made up of chicken meat. Nutro states on there website that they only use chicken meat in there meal, no bones, brains or other non-desirable by products.

Both Nutro and Royal C. are premium foods compared to what you buy in a supermarket.

chn meal is simply dehydrated

chn... it take 5lbs of fresh to 1lb meal...

as for raw ... I use pre done as do many since it is more conveniant the only caustion I have is make sure it says complete not supplemental and intermitant

I use pre-made raw food too. Its a great way to get started with a raw diet in an easy manner.
