My mom has this recipe for slow baked beans that is absolutely AWESOME. She usually makes them in the summer, but I like them any time. They're good warm, but GREAT cold, then next day. I've tried to make them before, but they didn't turn out because of the oven I was using.....it was gas and I forgot and overcooked them. So, today, on my day off, I'm going to give it a second try. They're in the oven now, so hopefully they'll be a delicious part of tomorrow's dinner. Wish me luck!
Anyone else enjoy a "summer" food in the winter?

Mmmm sounds good. If they turn out you must share the recipe!

We love BBQ'd ribs anytime and a lot of folks still BBQ throughout the winter. (Just put the BBQ closer to the sliding glass doors on the deck -
)

MMMMMMMM those sound so good right now. I need to get a grill for this summer!

I love pretty much anything that's grilled.

I looooove baked beans with lots of brown sugar and bacon!

They're really good if you make them in a slow-cooker....
