Help! My cat is pregnant and pooping everywhere!!

My pregnant cat is pooping everywhere. She has blood in her poop and she's completely disregarding the litterbox... often for the bathtub.

Now that we close the door to the bathroom she's been standing outside the bathroom with an attitude like, "You better open this up!"

It's NOT her tub. It's OUR tub. She already licks herself so she doesn't need a tub.


Really what to do about my cat. Wanna seea picture of me and her?

Her name is Fluffy meow but my 7 yr old named her "Lily". I just completely disregard that and call her Fluffy Meow because children need to RECOGNIZE.

Thats my little reminder of who buys Fluffy's food.

Hi and welcome to TCS. This should probably be in the 'Pregnant Cats & Kitten Care' forum but I'm sure a mod will move it for you.

When a cat poops inappropriately, especially in the tub or sink, it can be an indicator of illness. It could also be that she doesn't like the location of the litter tray or the type of litter you're using.

It may be worth taking her for a check-up at the vet, especially as she is pregnant.

Sounds like she should be seen by your vet. With blood in her poop sounds like she might be ill and being pregnant she really should be checked..

Sounds like she might be sick to me too. Better get her to a vet.
