Seeing as you're the video-game-computer-geek here at TCS, I wondered, do you know of anywhere you can download a really good C64 emulator?

Hang on, they may not have had those computers in Canada...ummm...C64 is short for Commodore 64 and they had the BEST games - Boulderdash, The Pharoah's Curse, Hunchback etc...

I was completely obsessed with those games and would just love to be able to play them again. Modern PC games have nothing on the ones from 20 years ago!

In the days of the C64, I could only be an envious geek and occasionaly play C64 games at friends houses.
I'll pm you on this one.

Ohhh I had a C64 also!!!!! I loved the games on it and would love to know this too - if you find one Sarah, let me know! I loved the Pharoahs curse also and I remember a game called Monty on the Run. I can't remember the rest, it has been so long! Gosh, that makes me feel so old!

Rob still has his C64 in the original box, with original manual and over 150 games. He's such a C64 geek.
Here is a page for C64 Emulators:

http://www.zzap64.co.uk/c64/c64emulators.html

Also, at my cottage, I have a ColecoVision set and games. Growing up, I was a ColecoVision girl and Rob was a C64 guy.
Man I feel old.

I just checked on the internet and they are redistributing ColecoVision:

http://coleco.com/

And here's the emulator for those interested:

Oh I loved Colecovision! That was my favorite console before the industry crash. I'm really surprised they are going to put out Coleco stuff again. I guess I shouldn't be since I saw the new retro Atari at EB.
