ive' been doing tai bo for over a year now and it's been great, helped me to lose a lot of weight and generally improved my energy and health levels, today i tried my new tai bo DVD for the first time, it's a 90 minute cardiovascular workout which is half hour longer than my other tai bo tapes and it was so awesome, if a workout doesn't totally exaust me and make me sweat then i don't feel like it's doing any good but this one really passed my expectations.

i have tried other exersise video's in the past but none of them have really worked for me, i was wondering if anyone else here does or has tried tai bo and what do they think of it?

thanks

felicia

it's a high intensity workout that sculpts your entire body, there are lots of different videos by the same guy so you would have to see which one suits you, i have three that i rotate so i never get bored.

here's some info on it, you can find the video's and DVD's on ebay

it is very hard sometimes but if you stick to it, it really works

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
I used to do it at school and it is a great work out, I have a DVD but have never done it. I prefer to go to the gym I have no motivation at home, the sofa is too tempting and the cats think its great to chase my feet...

I use to do Tai Bo as well. Then I joined a kickboxing gym and that just ruin Tai Bo for me
It was expensive though and I tried to go back but after you learn to hit something and you go back to punching air, it just isn't the same anymore.

I do agree though, it is an excellent workout. Especially if you're starting off with losing weight. With the high-impact style you lose the first 10 pounds very quickly!

Same here - I never can get motivated at home! But all those skinny little girls at the gym sure motivate me!
I just keep thinking...2 more miles on the bike and I'm closer to THAT kind of body!

LMAO McKenzie! Me too! But the annoying thing is that they just seem to be pedalling away in groups, not putting too much effort in, not sweating, full make-up, and Im there sweating buckets and still don't get those results? Whats going on?
The other day I ran 4 miles and decided I was tired, so I went to my locker to get my coat and saw this girl who had the most amazing figure I've even seen, so I went back out and ran another mile. lol Pain is beauty!!

I know what you mean - definately!!

Usually I bike 8-10 miles everytime I go - but then when I'm done I feel like I should go another 10 after I look over at that girl next to me who is a size 2 trying to be smaller!

I'm not big by any means - I'm a size 9/10 - but still - wherever you look its like you have to be smaller - oh well...at least I'm getting my exercise for the day
