I got Jazmine about 6 months ago and she has been with me, happy, ever since. When we would get a new kitten, she would growl at them or poop on their heads!!! Nothin big. She's about a year old now and not spayed yet. She is going tomarrow to get that done. I just adopted a year and a half old female from the humane society and brought her home to the exorcist!!! If she sees the new cat, Emmiline, she spits and growls at her and attacks her if she comes near me. She's even acting hateful towards me now and hisses at me. That is sooo unlike her. This is day one of the new kitty situation. What's goin on? Is Jaz jealous of Emmy? Is it possible for these two to eventually get along?

If not, I highly recommend it!http://www.thecatsite.com/Cats/Cat_B...cing_Cats.html Your resident cat is defending her turf and sees the new cat as an intruder. I'd isolate the new cat and then follow the steps in the article.
