[yes there are a few fur pics and pet pics mixed in but if I were to post them in different forums I'd have had to make 3 of the same topic. Wasn't sure, feel free to move this]

The part of CT where I live, we got 2ft, 3in of SNOW! And 40mph winds, and in the early morning, complete white-out conditions. I looked out the window and all I saw was white, couldn't even see across the street lol! It was actually quite fun since I had nowhere to go!

Here are pictures-

Down the street

Attempt at shoveling backyard stairs

The backyard, just look at the picnic table though!! (sorry it's so small, photobucket is messed up grrrr)

The roof

Sharie exploring the snow on the path I made for her since it was above her head lol - she loves eating the snow too!

Garage windowsill

Snow in the driveway where the car was, which was also completely covered in snow

Pool & deck with layer of snow (this one's small too sorry!)

More to come in a few minutes!

Sorry for the varied sizes of pics!

Sweetie snuggled in for a long winter's nap!

Hiding from the camera

Meowmy! That's enough pics....

The screen on the back porch was completely coated, as was the rest of the back porch, including all the furniture in it

Blowing snow

Sweetie looking thouroughly disgusted at the snow

The cats were just panicking!! THey didn't know what to do about all the snow...

So I brought them both on my bed and they snuggled up all warm and cozy

Oh I hope you do too! It is so much fun!!

When I was watching the news Monday morning, they had most schools closed even though the storm had ended Sunday afternoon! They were having trouble clearing off over 2ft of snow from the roads which were very slippery and bumpy..

NO, NO, NO, NO! That does not look wonderful to me at all. The photos are very interesting, but they can keep their snow back east. I had enough snow and sub-zero weather, too, by the time I moved from Minnesota in 1963. While the east and mid-west was having their snow, this is what we were seeing in our yards here on the Washington coast. I'll take our February weather any time.

I'm jealous. I remember the world just being silently blanketed. I love snow and snow days. It's so beautiful. And the unexpected day off when all you can do is relax and admire the beauty is great. Unlike hurricanes, where you are fearing for your life.......

Okay more snow for us!!!

I do LOVE spring, but winter is nice too. Personally I don't think spring is as enjoyable as it is after lots of cold and snow. It makes me appreciate it more and it's very refreshing

Alright today it was 55 degrees (Farenheit) ! It melted over half the snow.
Crazy weather....It's so confusing!
Today it felt like early April, sunny and warm, everything melting and thawing

Oh no! Oh no!
I said I'd take our February weather on the Washington coast any time. So guess what happened last night? It FROZE!
It got down to 28 degrees locally. I think that's the coldest we've had all winter. And the forecast is for sunny weather all week, which means it is going to get colder at night. Down to 17 degrees on Friday, they say. My blooming rhododendron is going to be ruined. My calla lilies will turn to mush! Give the cold weather back to the easterners, please!

Me too! I hate where I live, it's one thing after another!

Katrina didn't hit us directly, but damn, we cared for thousands of animals comming in and going out, and that's a site and smell no-one can ever forget.

Rita scared us all shitless, and then turned around and laughed at us being stuck on the highway with no gas. Well, not me, I got down the block and my car started over heating so I turned my happy ass home.

I miss snowboarding!
