Zoey s exact bday is unknown as she was semi feral when I adopted her ... but the vet says with some certainty she was born in feb of 04... so since she is a red head I gave her Valentines day as a bday

Mom needs help figuring out what she get s for a present so help

For a present...depends on your price range
Anything from a kitty condo to, like Brandi said, a catnip toy would certainly make a cat happy!

Some other ideas might be, a little cat bed, an assorment of those fun little jingle bell balls that make lots of noise are something that cats usually love....My cats really love toy mice too, and I would imagine other cats do too. The kind that are soft and not too fluffy and sorta feel like real mice, but they're small and colorful.

A bag of expensive treats that you never buy to go along with whatever else she gets for her?

I bought Lily a package of cat toy springs in Alco. I don't know if you have even heard of Alco, though. It is one of those Iowa things.

Perhaps some mice(not real ones, unless...)? How about a kitty friend?

She will have a kitty friend .. her kitty friend is residing with Pat right now and her name is Frankie.... Zoey will be getting a new collar for her bday and a toy or two .. she only like wildside salmon for treats and thanks to Pat and Alix she is well stocked... Mom is hoping to either make or purchase with grannies help a floor to ceilling post ... Zoey has six she shares with Kandie her aunt in the house...

Happy Birthday to Zoey! Frankie is blossuming...and trusting enough to show her er less stellar habits (she will get up on the table, she will steal Patrick's treats if she can, she might just like to lick the computer cords - eek!!!)

She does her darned best to scratch at box corners (even though she can't since we found out she had been declawed by a previous owner), she does "ooh, dash away from the boogey man!" and has that upright, plumed tail gait down well

I am hopeful she and Zoey will be good friends in short order.
