I have to admit, I really like battered and deep fried things. It can be tempura batter, or crushed bread crumbs, or whatever. Just get batter on something and put it in front of me. Okay.... maybe not anything, and it has to be cooked too.
I would have to say my favorite battered thing would be deep fried chicken balls (chicken breast meat) in a Tempura batter. I love the fresh, sourdough flavor it has in it.
Next week I'm going to visit my Aunt and Uncle, and bring my fryer as well. I'll be doing the chicken balls, while they'll be frying wings and French fries. I'm going to die happy of a heart attack!

FRIED DOUGH!!!!! With lots of powdered sugar. And maybe some cinammon too. For some reason though it only tastes good when I have it at, say, the local country fair, or at the amusement park/carnival or something. That's where it belongs I guess heh

...It just doesn't seem like something you should have every day either

If you melt cheese over the whole thing, it truly can be heart attack on a plate.

OMG and how could I forget- deep fried twinkies!!!!!! I've only ever had ONE, ONCE, and I think that's enough for a lifetime
It must have had 3 day's worth of calories and fat in it!!!!! And it had some chocolate syrup and whipped cream on it too. I know, I know, it sounded disgusting to me too but everyone else claimed they were delicious and were pressuring me to try it so I did. But it is sooooooooooooo goooooooooooood!! I had it in the afternoon and wasn't really hungry again till over a day later LOL. But you have't lived till you've tried one of those

Chiles rellenos: One green chile, stuffed with Monteray jack or Oaxaca cheese, dipped in an egg batter and fried. Top with more melted cheese and serve with a side of frijoles

I won't be going that far Deb.
I think they might make bluecheese sauce, but I never have that on wings.

I've never heard of deepfrying a TwinkieÂ[emoji]174[/emoji], but I have no doubt it would be good. I mean come on... it's deep fried right?

Oh geeez... my mouth is watering!
I've never deep fried chilis before. They would be sooooo good homemade rather than the frozen/baked ones from stores. I like green chilis.

Jalapeno poppers!. Years ago, I got some at a truckstop, in Sweetwater TX, stuffed with cheddar cheese and bacon bits. Haven't found them anywhere else.

I do like deep fried things but I don't eat them very often. Fatty food give me heart burn. And if I'm gonna eat something really unhealthy, I'd rather go with sweet rather than fatty.

I remember watching some food-related TV show a while ago and they were in some country in Europe (don't remember which) and they bought a deep fried Mars bar. The chocolate bar was covered in batter and deep fried. That was the weirdest thing I've ever seen. I don't even want to imagine how many calories are in that thing!

Beer battered onion rings!!! I also like deep fried cauliflower.
One thing I had at the State Fair last year that I will never eat again is a deep fried candy bar. I think it was a Snickers bar. One bite was more than enough for me!

I haven't had it in a long time, but I have two words for you:

Tempura Cheesecake

That's right, take a piece of cheesecake (pref. choc chip cheesecakes) and dip it in tempura batter. Then fry it. Then squirt chocolate sauce and put a scoop of ice cream on top of it.

Some japanese restaurants have it, and its pretty much pure death. But what a way to go!!!

I've never had a fried Twinke or Snickers tho, I wonder if I'd like them? Hmmm....something new to try at the fair this year

I absolutely love deep fried zuchini dipped in creamy ranch dressing. I also like Outback's blooming onion, but with ranch instead on their dipping sauce
