This is my first attempt at designing my very own signature.

Yeah, I can see that now. I am not sure what happened. When I saved the tif file to photobucket it was 1.5" x 5". IT SHRUNK!

Bear with me while I work on it. Thanks!

Here is my latest attempt. Now it seems too big. But at least it is readable.

Back to the drawing board.

I can read it just fine... but I think you are right, it is a tad too big
Looks great other than that.

It looks great, but it is way too big. I resized it for you but, it's still a little hard to read. You may just want to start over with a new image 150 pixels high & then add your photo & text. That way you'll be able to see if your text is readable. Once you're done, if your file size is too large then you can resize it or I can resize it for you if you need help with that.

I read on here somewhere that sigs should be no bigger than 600 x 300, but mine is 675 x 165. Is that o.k.? It is so hard to get it readable when you squash it down more. But if I have to, I just have to. Just let me know if I need to make more adjustments.

I really love this pic of Snow. He is just so cute and inquisitive in this one.

I thought that I would rotate pictures of the clan once I get this thing all figured out. How often do most folks update their signature?

That's why I suggested that you may want to start over & make it 150 pixel high to begin with. That way you can create it with a good readable sized text & not have to squash down your siggy & text.

Here it is, again. This time it is 600 x 150. Is this o.k.? Is it readable?

Thank you all for the support and kind words.

I am definitely not a designer and isn't like some of the beautiful professionally ones on here, but it will work until I figure out how to do some of the fancier stuff.

I'd love to know how they get just the kitty onto a different background.
Oh well, that is a project for another day.
