Actually, I was thinking about something unique like Kitters. I really like the name Kitters, I even tried it out on Lola. She isn't a Kitters, either. I tried Jennifer, but that doesn't work. My dad wants to name her Whitney Houston because she sings(or screams as he puts it) quite a bit. I still haven't come up with anything that fits relaly well. Caliope works, but I don't know if I like it that much. I am finally going to google names & see what I can come up with. I am also going to ask for input when I am at the HS tonight.

How about some Lakota words?

Arlyn, I was trying out all of the names you suggested on Lola when I looked at your siggy. Lola could be a Cassi. It is definately a pretty name!

My Cassi isn't a Cassi at all, but she came to me with the name Cassiopiea, way too much of a mouthful.

I like "Powder" also. One of my first online friends, an attorney from Ghent, Belgium, went by that name online.

Lola got spayed this morning, & I am going to pick her up tomorrow morning, weather permitting. I might be calling her grouch. She was pretty angry & got somewhat violent after we gave her a bath, I can't imagine what she will be like after getting spayed!

I like Cassiopeia. Except for the word "pee" is in it. I can just see someone calling her pee-pee head. What fun it is to try to find naughty words in every name! (Can I say 'pee' on here?)

I am going to check on petfinder & see what other white cats are named. Maybe I will get an idea there. I did consider Pepsi as she sleeps ina Pepsi box a lot.

I was looking on Petfinder(I still am) at white cats to see what they got named. Boy, was that ever a big mistake! I have found so many lovely cats that I would love to have! I saw Iridian, too. She's gorgous! She looks so much like Twitch does(when Twitch looks normal).

I did find one name that I think would be good for Lola. Samantha means 'listener' in Aramaic. lol Lola's deaf.

I do have a whole list of serious names, but I am still waiting on Rigel's input.

I had a friend who took in strays frequently (lived on a dead end road near the river, lots of dumps ), and she had a pretty little white girl once, whom I helped foster.

Her boys decided her name was Flower, so she said when she introduced cat and me. She seemed a bit bewildered at their choice, though, as "They haven't watched Bambi in ages!"

I took one look at this lovely, soft, fuzzy off-white girl, and said. . .



"Uh, Sal, they named her f-l-o-U-R, not f-l-o-w-E-R!"
