Never thought I look forward to going to work on Monday but close to two feet of snow has kept me inside most of the weekend.

I have cleaned every surface of my apt. Done every bit of laundry. Redid the files. Figured out my income taxes and dyed my hair.

Urghhhh! Bored!!!!

Anyone else suffering in the Northeast?

My local weatherman said storm was going to miss us - only about 1"-3"....we got around 8"-10"....so much for that.

Have to say I haven't been nearly as energetic as you though. I did do a little painting, but other than that most of my energy was expelled going from window to window to check and see if maybe it somehow magically disappeared.......

painting as in artwork or redecorating?

I'd much rather clean than paint the walls-mainly cause I get more paint on me than the walls and then of course the cats try to help and I wind up having to bathe a 12lb siamese and a skittish russian blue

Painting as in - redecorating - kinda. Bought my house 1 1/2 years ago and whoever lived here painted the hall, stairway to cellar, and the cellar this awful awful dark pink.
Needless to say - it had to go.
Same goes for me though - more paint on me than anything else. And yes - my cats help too. My calico has added white primer to her coloring this time.
, but I do have to say the rest of them were very very good. A little curious, but no white or green kitties.

I can never keep my cats out of anything!!!

Whether its paint or cooking or freshly mopped floors. What's your secret?

Right now one is asleep on top of my unfolded laundry and one is asleep on my lap so I can't move.

Of course it was pretty amazing how freaked out they were early this am when it started thundering and lighting during the height of the blizzard.

It really did thunder and lighting during the snow storm. The weather people on TV called it snowthunder.

I don't if they made the term up or it already exsisted.

Pretty freaky huh.
