Firefox Problems and Adware

Ever since I downloaded the 1.5 01 update of Firfox it has been extremely unstable. Crashing and freezing frequently. Ive tried reinstalling no help. I read on the Mozzila site that others have had the same problems.

I really should have stuck with Deer park. Anyone else have these problems. At the moment its so annoying i'm considering changing to Opera!!

As a byline i've also managed to download tha most irritating piece of Adware that I just cant get rid of. My virus scan is clear. ADAWARE DOESNT PIC IT UP. microsoft anti spy pics up and deletes it 10 monutes later its back with more pop ups. Spybot cant get it either any other ideas!!!

One of the really stupid things is the popups that keep appearing are advertising Antispyware programs. GRRRRR

Ryan recommended this program to me when I was having issues with my computers at school. They have a free trial. Ewido found stuff that Spybot and others didn't.

Deb Fantastic Spyware program. All other programs I was using Spybot/ Adaware were finding like 5 critical objects (incuding cookies) Ewido found 311 objects! Wow now that damm pop ups seem to have stopped as well.

Thank Ryan. He originally recommended it to me. I had a couple of computers so infected at school that they would even open a Word document, our district homepage was hijacked constantly, and a host of other problems. Ewido found over 1100 things on one machine alone! I was amazed at how well it worked.
