Does he have HEART problems?

My not quite 2 year old Kitty boy Panther was jumping for his bird on a feather toy when he suddenly stopped and stood open mouthed panting.

Is this heart problems causing this? His heart was going BUMPbump! He only stopped for a minute at the most and then licked his mouth and wanted to go again but I put the toy away in case.

IS this his HEaRT?

It could be. Cats with heart murmurs sometimes get worn out faster than cats without heart problems. Since you are concerned, I would take your kitty to the vet where they can listen to his heart.

Has he been diagnosed with a heart problem in the past? If he has yes that could very well be his heart telling him to take it easy. Echo had gotten so bad in the end that a walk to the food or water dish would cause open mouth breathing, so we delivered all his neccessity's to him.

I took him to the ER vet but he did not hear a murmur or anythng, BUT he says healthy cats do NOT pant with the mouth open so It looks like he does have heart problems and I have to take him to the regular vet on Monday.
