I admit it!
I eat at work.
I don't have problems with eating in the office because I bring my brown bag to lunch.. but if you call during my lunch hour and expect me to have a conversation, you're getting me eating in your ear.

You guys crack me up.
I've just finished a bag of super crispy sweet potato chips. Crunch crunch. Then I licked my fingers. Mmmm.... slurpy.
You wouldn't want to see me eat a kiwifruit! I like to pierce it with my front tooth, then squish the insides so they're soft, then I like to slurp up all the juicy mush.

Anybody ever watched a cow(like, moo-cows, ya know, beef comes from them?
) eat? To me, someone eating an apple is worse than a cow eating!

At least it was an apple and not a jelly filled donut. Obesity people, bad thing!! Eating healthy= good thing!! I think it's funny when people get annoyed with normal eating sounds

When people that I am talking to on the phone eat crunchy food ... I want to hang up on them.

I love the sound of my sweet kitties eating. That never bothers me.
I keep a bowl of fresh water by my bed.
At night, I always smile when I hear them drink...lap, lap, lap. .

LOL! I don't think I could really be referred to as `laid back'. Max would wet himself laughing if he heard me claim to be that!!

I think people chewing gum just look dumb. I also can't stand it when people are eating some big smelly meal in class or on public transportation. In my class today, the girl next to me came back from lunch break with a styrofoam container with fried catfish in it

I love fried catfish as much as the next gal, but I don't want to smell greasy fish for half a class!!!

Not me! Thats one of my biggest pet peeves! John was eating an apple yesterday sitting next to me, and I had to get up and leave the room!

I don't mind hearing the cats eat, but the dog eating is enough to drive me insane! She makes the most digusting noises, plus keeps making all these "mouth" noises when she's finished her bowl of food! Ugh!

While waiting for our food in a restaurant over the weekend, I was observing people eating. I think if most of them could have seen themselves in a mirror, they never would have eaten in public again!

Eating noises are a huge pet peeve of mine as well, I guess!

Our doggies aren't too bad, but they do do one extremely cute thing sometimes. Occasionally, when they are sleeping they'll lick their lips as though they're having a drink. It's usually followed by whimpering and little barks, as they dream (also just too cute) but they look so sweet and innocent when they do the drinking/licking thing. It doesn't make a horrid noise, but they remind me of babies who make suckling noises in their sleep!

I hope no one jumps on me here, but one noise that really drives me up the wall is the sound of Sunday grooming. Sashka's not so bad, but Sunday's long hair makes it tough for her, and she slobbers like you would not believe. I have to go somewhere else when she's having a clean!!

Under the cats, mostly.
you're not the only one hun! I HATE the sound of people eating, but what makes me really want to throttle people are those who chew gum like cudding cows. Is there any need to open your mouth as wide as possible while chewing? Is there any need to slurp away and let others see exactly what it is you're eating? No.

Ooooo I hate eating noises. Period. It just irritates me.

They CANNOT be eaten quietly, no matter what, but she was sucking on hers, too!!

I had to go and spend five minutes in the bathroom to stop myself from getting violent
eek, i can't STAND people who make too much noise when they eat, eat with their mouths open or *shudder* eat while talking on the phone, i always feel like yelling 'where's your manners??" lol

i also hate it when someones eating an apple and a projectile of apple juice sprays your face

i would have had to walk out too

i also don't really like milkshake slurpers but i do that myself...in the privacy of my own home

Yes, well, combined with the incessant, tuneless humming of the other lady I work with I was having rather the frustrating day that day. LOL! The humming is worse, seriously, I've been staring at her and huffing and sighing loudly but she still doesn't get it. Perhaps I should be mature about it and say something like, well, um, `SHUT UP YOU!!!!!'.

Or perhaps I could get Wyan to do it for me??

I especially hate to see ladies chewing gum.
i never thought that looked good either and i only ever use wrigley's gum to freshen my breath.....in private

if i started chewing gum my husband would be mortified
especially if i blew big bubbles and made them pop...or worse, twirled it on my finger
