Glad to see I'm not the only one with a passion for Mushrooms. I hated them as a kid but now they go in just about everything. Spaghetti, caseroles, pizza.

I also like brussel sprouts which I detested as a kid. Also mustard, I like it on bologna sandwiches a lot.

I stil haven't developed a taste for beans though. Yuck. I also have a real developed taste for Tequila although I don't drink anymore by choice.

Me, too. Potato salad, sausage, coffee, mayonnaise to name a few.

I still don't like olives, lima beans or cottage cheese.

I never used to like any kind of pasta, noodles or rice - now I love them all!

I, by the way, do not eat mushrooms!

I use to hate asparagus as a kid. Now I love it!!! Hated beans and still do!!!

My brother would never eat eggs because they came out of a "chickens" butt. He still to this day feels the same way! Will not eat eggs.

I didn't care for Lima Beans as a child. Or Mayonaise. Now I like them both.
Now there are some things I liked as a kid but don't now, such as mustard.
I'll only eat butter if it is melted onto toast, a biscuit, a roll, or potatoes, or some other hot food that needs it.
I'll only eat onions if they are grilled.
I have always hated saurkraut, liver, and oysters, and likely always will.

well i still dislike mushrooms. i've tried to like them over and over again as my boyfriend loves them, but it just doesnt work. its a texture thing for me because they dont really have much of a taste..

onions are a big one that i've started eating in the past year. i cant get enough onions these days. it seems like everyday i have onion breath (ugh) but i love the taste!

and there is one red wine that i really like now. i dont know if that will translate over to the rest of the red wine population, but this shiraz tastes like candy!

Wow it spins me out to read all the people who don't like mushrooms!!!
I LIVE on mushrooms, just about!! We always have a kilo or two in the fridge, they go in just about every meal

I had a girlfriend over for dinner once and for some reason wasn't aware that she didn't like mushrooms. She walked in and I was making pasta with - yep, you guessed it - MUSHROOMS. She said she would leave them out but the whole dish was spaghetti with a tomato and onion sauce, with mushrooms. It wouldn't have left much! Anyway, she demolished her meal, went back for seconds and felt like she'd had a complete turnaround. LOVED them!

So, the following week she thought she'd try it again. Bought some mushrooms, fried them up on toast, and just about threw them back up again the first mouthful.
Guess it's not an easily acquired taste, after all!

The best way to eat mushrooms is to fry them with Onions, and lemon pepper with very little oil!

Hmmm...
I think the best way to have them is to buy fresh ones and deep fry them in a nice batter.

I really can't imagine people hating mushrooms.

I've always loved mushrooms and I love picking wild mushrooms myself. It's great fun, as long as you're 110% sure what you're picking.

Mmm...fried wild mushrooms and onion on toast.
