Goodbye, for now

I'm just posting quickly to say "bye for now" to all the wonderful people on this board.

We had to PTS our Bodi almost two weeks ago on Saturday. Her CRF wasn't responding to the treatment we chose, and we decided that it was time to let her go instead of trying more treatments that might not work and would only stress her out. The vet came here. It was a horrible day, but could have been worse. Our house is so empty now and we miss her terribly. I can't post without crying.

We will have another kitty someday . . . too early to think about when . . . and when we do, I'll be back.

In the meantime, thanks to all for being here and for just being you

Aww! I am so sorry to hear about your furbaby! I hope you are able to come back soon and share memories with us, and new cat stories.

I'm so sorry your lossed your precious Bodi, she was a very beautiful girl. She's happily smiling down on you now and free from any pain and suffering in this world. Bless her soul.

I know how difficult it has been, and then to have to make the decision. At least Bodi is no longer suffering. I know, too, how empty you feel, and I'm crying with you.

I can see Bodi playing at the bridge with my Candy and other kitties that have been lost recently. Rest in peace, Bodi, until you see your people again.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Bodi. I was shocked when I saw the picture because your Bodi looks so much like our tuxedo cat, Max, who passed last July. Hugs and peace to you. Rest in peace, Bodi. You are loved and missed so much. I pray that your memories of him will be precious.

OH I am so sorry! This is so very painful but Brodie was a very lucky girl to have such a loving and caring home.

I'm sure when the time comes, you'll find another kitty to love who needs you just as much as you need her or him.

Deepest condolences on the loss of sweet Bodi! I understand not being ready for another cat right now, but TCS is for cat lovers, not just cat owners. Please don't stop posting and reading just because you are temporarily without a kitty companion!

And be prepared, because sometimes a needy kitten or cat comes your way long before you think you are ready! LOL! Hugs to you at this difficult time. Bodi was just beautiful! Her little boots are so cute! She is happy and well, over the Rainbow Bridge. May your happy memories bring you comfort!
