Just got the message from"Captiva" thanks all for the warm welcoming and great help and treating received.
Im 21 years old, im doing my masters in Psychology, love plants, bonsais and cats (dont worry im not a bonsai kitten freak). I work at Walmart garden center as a part time sales associate in the night (Yes we have walmarts in PR, they are everywhere)
Thats how i got involved in "the cats industry". A yar ago working I discovered a giant white rat running between the pallets of dirt in the garden at light speed. I was scared and worried (never saw a giant white rat). One day i saw it still and it wasnt a rat it was a cat. I got interested in it and went to the pet department and picked up from under the cats food bin pieces of fammen wiskas, special kitty, frieskies etc. from broken bags. Went to the garden and captured th cats attention with the food. At first I literally had to leave the garden desocupied of people so that the cat could come out and eat, because of how skitish it was. Then little by little, and day after day the cat began to come out of under the flwer beds and would eat at a few feet from me, and looking at me while it ate instead of paying attention to the oustandig and great tasting first of a time cat food. And then feet by feet a won the cats confidence, till one day on a dirt pallet it ate fom my hand, and that was it I was in love (still without knowing if it was a boy or a girl). The manager told me they had to get rid of "that thinh"that was leaving a tremendous smell between the bags of dirt in the garden. I saw myself in this "tremendous obligation" to take her home. I knew my parents wouldnt let me, but I new \\i would live with her in my room till the rest of our days.
I took her home in my car with tremendous struggle and fight, because she was still a little skitish (thats another story) And brought her to my room and started living one of the best of times of mi nights with Colin (thats her name) and thank god she was a "she" because I was truly in love withe her.
In her first heat she got out through my screen window, met this atractive and beautifull tomcat taht lied to her telling her he would love her and live happy ever after with her, they had sexual relations and wala when she woke up he wasnt there, he left her alone with a broken heart and "full tank", had no where else to go and came back home the other day. A few weeks later shes acting strange and haves pink nipples and i go "öh oh"
Thats why I came to you gus for help and suggestions. The kittens were born monday 6 (feb) everything went well (do i was nervous as "shipppp" you can see the kitten forum and see mi topic my cat is in labor right now
Still evreything is ok and with your help and recommendations a will continue my life with colin and i dont know who elses kitten.
Once again thanks.

Here is a pic of my precious 8 month mommy Colin. She is doing great with her kittens, and is very happy. Just posting so you can know her better.
You can see a pic of her nursing in the kitten care forum.

So nice to hear of a WalMart employee helping a cat. One of our local stores got bad press from an incident where they shot a cat instead of trying to catch it.
