Orr cat has bleeding from one nostril

...not a lot, but it is there. Other than a trip to the vet, which may or may not be productive, any ideas? Thanks. Paul & Jean

has he/she fallen? Do you know what the cause could be? I would still call the Vet and run the scenario by him and see what he says. Better to err in the favor of safety than to be sorry later on. Good luck and plenty of xoxoxo to your baby.

Can you see the source of the blood? is it high or low in the nose?

One idea: A friend's dog once got a piece of Foxtail grass stuck up in his nose and made that nostril bleed. He needed to have the vet remove it.

Another idea, if it has been cold and dry where you are, maybe the skin got dry and cracked.

Hope kitty gets better soon!

Thanks to Maui and to (sorry don't have in hand here) was it Hello06? both of you for concern about our kitty. He is actually an old fellow. Will keep an eye on him and get back.
