Animated avatar

I have an animated avatar I want to use but when I uploaded it, it wasn't animated.

I put it in for you, Diane, as Deb doesn't seem to be online right now. This version of vBulletin only allows administrators/mods to "insert" animated avatars.

Your avatar looks really cute.

Thanks Tricia! But I could have sworn I seen a post from Deb not too long ago where she said it was fixed and you could upload an animated avatar without asking a mod for help.

Well I like the avatar though!

What a pain for all of you mods to have to put every animated avatar. Thanks for putting forth so much an effort for TCS it's really great and very appreciated!!!!!!

So, what is the final verdict? Are members able to post animated avatars, or do the mods need to do it? Just curious now.

Don't know. For members able to upload a custom avatar, the setting is set to allow an animated one. If you can't upload it, give me a shout. It takes 2 seconds to get it in there. No bother at all.

I used to have a little animated avatar. I had no trouble putting it up myself.

Yeah, at Halloween I had a animated avatar that worked when I put it up.

It looks like we're experiencing some glitches. Probably the best thing to do is to send the animated avatar to an administrator or mod by PM if you're entitled to a custom one, and can't change it yourself.

The change came when we upgraded to the latest version of vB software.
