Has anyone ever tried this cat food? Wondering if it is really great for siamese or just a marketing ploy

I have a Balinese girl and two domestic cats and I mix Siamese 38 and Royal Canin Sensibel.
I've noticed that all of them have got more muscular bodies since they started on it (october) and the kibbles are big so they have to chew it.
They really like it!

I really think all of Royal Canin's breed specific and indoor/outdoor foods are a marketing ploy. It's just not necessary.

I was just wondering, on this subject, what any company could add to make it either breed or indoor/oudoor specific?!

I posted a long while ago about Go Cat Indoor cat biscuits and we were unable to discover any real additives that I can't add indoors (grass etc) other than mouse heads, flies, moths etc?!!

If anyone has any information on this, I'd be very interested to hear about it!

I just got a bag of this Siamese Royal Canin food tonight and the cats love it. Last year I got a Royal Canin sample at a pet show and Bijou wouldn't touch it, so whatever they put in the Siamese mix certainly appeals to him and Mika.

I feed special 33 to my Marsh, he loves Royal Canin. BUT, it's the only variety i feed because the 33 is special for sensitive stomachs and has high protein content and is low on carbs. it comes in a purple bag.

Some of it is marketing ... but if you read carefully the protein and fat levals differ .... as does the fiber... Essentially they are geared torward a typical of a breed ... Is this good or needed you be the judge I dont really think it is nessasary but I have looked at the siamese and beauty fit for the protein levals..

They are big and round, look like dog food

My cats (two of them) usually scoops kibbles down when they eat, but with the size of the Siamese, they have to chew it and its good for their teeth also.

I don't know how big dog food is but they are round (I didn't think they were that big). I did notice that Bijou bit a few of them in two but that's not going to do a whole big lot for their teeth as only the very tip of the tooth will be breaking the piece.

We use Royal Canin Persian and it is formulated so the Persians can pick the bikkies up easier with their flat faces. My pussy cats love it!
