Well, 6 pm & here I am at my hubby's office working on stuff that just didn't get done by him, for a client who wanted it filed last week.
I had planned for a nice night in Bridgeport and our friend who owns a motel was giving us a free stay. Now, it's a 2 hr. drive, and the nice restaurant has been so slow that it will close at 8 tonight....so much for the plans I dared to make.
And I just called the client to come sign the paperwork and she said that she'd rather do it on Wednesday

So much for a special night for me...and my hubby is just as content to go home & watch TV - what does that tell me....he did offer to pick up something to eat so I don't have to cook.
Fortunately, as disappointed & upset as I am, I'm enough of a cat person to still want some KFC!
And I'm so angry that I am going to have a good cry here in the office & then enjoy some quality time on TCS! And then, home to my furbabies, so we can watch Animal Planet .

OMG - I just heard 3 very loud, awful cat cries - I ran around the building & up & down the street, but found nothing. I am hoping & praying that it was just 2 toms fighting, but it did sound much worse. If it is something wrong, I hope & pray that I can find the poor cat & help it...Susan

Susan,
I'm sorry everything fell apart. Happy Anniversary still. Cuddle with the cats and hubby and remember the day-to-day happiness. Those are the times I treasure more than "special" occasions.
