Grey's Anatomy (RANT!)2/5/06

Anyone else really PO-ed that it's a cliffhanger?!?

I totally called what would happen last night but I cried so much and it didn't help when Meredith switched hands with Hannah and then kept saying "What did I do? What did I do?"

Then the scenes for next week when they tell McDreamy that it's Meredith with her hand on the bazooka UGH!

OOOOOO! Then Baily's hubby having MAJOR surgery after a car accident trying to rush to get to her at the hospital?!? UGH! What is that? Why are they doing this to me! The she leaves him a voicemail saying "You better be dead on the side of the road making me wait!"

I HATE CLIFFHANGERS!!

I knew it was before it started, because the Guide on the satellite said Part 1 of 2.

But yeah...the look on Derek's face when Cristina tells him it's Meredith... But then again, I don't really like Addison anyway.

And what's up with Izzy and Alex?!? He is NO GOOD for her!!!

I don't follow it as religiously as some but I hated the way they ended the show!!
Such a big lead up to the "after the Super Bowl" stuff and then half a show for a whole week!!

I have watched the show off and on, I think it is on the same time as something else I like to, so its a toss up which one I watch.

I agree totally with EVERYTHING you said. I havent been really into that show, but last night had me freaking out. It was a great show. They REALLY got into every scene, and had me really into it. I was like really really mad when they left it how it was. Because then, next week, Im going to HAVE to watch it. It really was intense. I sure hope everything turns out good. Although what was all that in the beginning, when Meridith and that one guy that she loves were in that white room, and she had a tear running down her face? Was like that like a dream? Or a secret preview of next week?

He really does love meridith, you can see it...why dont they just DO IT! Well, cuz he's married to that uglier girl. duh. But anyway, I totally agree with your rant, I was ranting for like 20 minutes after the show.

This is my favorite show! I am totally obsesed with it! I haven't missed one episode yet. I could not believe that she put her hand in! Nothing is going to stop me from seeing next weeks episode!!!

I was #$$#@@$$# at my tv at the end ... I love the show..

I DVR it every week. Not that I've missed one yet, but you know, just in case. Did you know that Season 1 comes out on DVD on February 14?

I actually wasn't surprised that Meredith put her hand in. That's just so....her. I would have been surprised if Cristina put her hand in!

I would have been shocked if Cristina would have done that! I didn't know that the second season came out then! Thanks! I too tape it every week in case something happens or my brother interuptes me.

I love the show! I am a dedicated fan even though I didn't get to watch the first season. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Oh and I agree with everyone about Addison! I cannot STAND her!

And I hate Alex and Izzy together! She is way to good for him! UGH!

You have to see the first season!!! It was great!

Grey's Anatomy has a HUGE following here in Seattle. It's really refreshing to NOT have mentions of Microsoft and Bill Gates and Starbucks and grunge and all that. We're sick of Seattle having such a narrow identity revolving around 20-somethings obsessed with digital everything. Boring. So this show is HUGE here. I was shocked it was a 2 parter! No way!

I actually like Addison because she tries so hard to take the high road. I think she's a brilliant doctor and she is highly intelligent, like lazer intelligent, but she's very insecure which turns into smugness and arrogance. I have met women like that in my life and they intellectualize everything - like when she stated that Meredith was the victim - trying to humiliate Meredith shrouded in a sympathetic nod, but she did it intellectually. Assuming that her husband simply had a fling instead of realizing the signs that he's no longer in love with her.....I bet she'll have an intellectual higher IQ answer for that, too!

I too am obsessed with this show. I reserve Sunday nights to watch DH and GA. I haven't missed a single episode of season two. I also have seen some missing episodes from season one because they were put into slots during season two as re-runs/fillers for whatever reason

This show has the right mix of sexual tension (and just plain sex ), drama, compassion, HUMOR , and so on. I usually hate medical shows including the Almighty ER. GA is the best though!! I have come close to crying during many episodes.

I never liked that show but the stupid superbowl made me watch it. I actually didn't mind it this time. What that pregnant lady said over the phone to her husband, that so reminds me of something I would say, so I told bf if that ever happens not to take it seriously..

I like the show, but wish it was a little less soap-opery. Anyway, I missed it this week. Glad I did now! I hate cliffhangers too!

I'll tell you, I wanted to watch that show, because the girl who play's Izzie, also played Izzie on Roswell, and I like her. However, they have graphic barfing on that show, and I simply CANNOT HANDLE THAT KIND OF THING. Too bad. I wish someone would tell them to make the show viewable. NO ONE NEEDS TO SEE SOMETHING THAT MAKES THEM SICK ! My rant about the show, is that, and only that. I don't mind all of the blood guts and other gore, but for crying out loud, can't they keep the barfing out of view, so we don't have to SEE it!?!

Oh wow... I haven't been here in ages but I stumbled across this thread and just had to jump in. Hope you don't mind me butting in.

I'm absolutely addicted to this show. I have to say that I kind of guessed that Meredith would do that because of the way they kept showing her hand rubbing the top of the paramedics hand. Plus... the way she said she had a 'feeling' that something was going to happen that day.

My favorite is George. I absolutely adore him. He's hilarious. Although I have to admit I think they took his shower fantasy a bit too far. I wasn't expecting that at all when the show started.

Alex and Izzy, I have to admit I do like them together. I think Alex is just having a hard time transforming from a ladies man to a one woman man but I think it's going to happen. He's just fighting it right now.

McDreamy is definitely what dreams are made of. I can't wait for him and Meredith to get back together again.

I hope this show lasts a few years at least. Between Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy, I look forward to Sunday nights.

BTW, for those who don't know, GA season one comes out on Valentine's Day Target will have it on sale for $17. I rarely buy T.V series on DVD but I have to make an exception for this show. I too love O'Malley He is SO adorable and quotable. "I am George. I sleep down the hall from you... I buy you tampons..." (George to Meredith).
