Ok, my cat goes to the litter box very often to pee, and sometimes she just lays there. We called a couple vets and they said that its most likely bladder infection, but they said we need to bring her in. Is there any way to cure her at all, without the pet hospital(our financial status is low right now)

In short, the answer is No. She needs to be seen and assessed by a vet, prescribed the appropriate medication, monitored at home and then reassessed by a vet after completing the medication.

Doesn't matter her age or breed Tom, she still needs a vet. Taking care of it now, is less costly and less dangerous than waiting. UTI can get serious virtually overnight. Please take her in to be checked.

def take her to the vet. my kitten would do the same thing, until one morning i woke up to find him lying on the floor with the stomach as large and solid as a baseball. turns out he has feline urinary infection, forming crystals in his urine, making it difficult to pee. he needed a catheter and a one night stay (that didnt come cheap). because i caught it quick, hes ok for now, however needs to be on a special food for the rest of his life (also not cheap). hope this helps.

take care!

Nobody else has told you this in your thread. Your cats life could be in danger. If your cat gets blocked up, it will be a most serious issue. Please take this cat to the dr. Any decent vet will work out some kind of arrangement so you can pay weekly or monthly. Don't put it off and put your cat in pain. Please understand this could turn into a life threatening situation for your cat.

I just went through this last Sunday and it ended up costing 400 bucks because I may have waited too long.

Take her in ASAP.

My cat had to get a catheder up his you know what and be away from home for 3 whole nights. I was not a pretty sight seeing him that way.

Catching it quick is alot better than waiting Tom. I caught Sakura's UTI quickly and it only cost around $100. 40 for the exam, 40 for the urinalises (sp?) and 20 for the antibiotics. If you phone around a bit you most likely will find a vet that can set up a payment plan. Most vets concerns are about the animal not the money.
