Get your kitty fix here!

These are the pics I have been taking of all of the outside cats that we are getting fixed. There are some in the house right now getting fed good & warmed up. This way I can be sure they don't eat anything tonight as they get spayed tomorrow. I will be posting pics as I get them on the computer.

First, here's Rin Tin Tin(orange tabby w/ white feet) & Nadia(black/brown tabby with white feet). They got neutered & spayed on Thursday of last week. Both are in the HS right now.

Next, this is Big Damita. She's a grogous tortie with stunning green eyes(which you can't see really well in the pics). She lost most of her eyesight a while ago & we never noticed. She still sees some, but it is limited. She has been living in the shop for the most part & I let her outside to play when I was outside to supervise her. She gets around really well & we don't want to give her up, but she needs to be someone's housepet & dad won't go for another cat. She is such a lovebug, though. She will be staying with us until she is healed & if she settles well, she might go to the HS to stay. Otherwise, we will foster her until someone falls in love with her!


Those are the two I have for now, but I will keep posting as I get them!

Here's one where you can sort of see Big D's green eyes. She just wanted to be petted, not have pictures taken of her!

They are all gorgeous!!

Here's Feeny. She is about 12 years old. We will be keeping her here, either in the house or in the heated shop. She is such a sweetie.

This is Gaberiel. He is one of the 10 month old males. His picture doesn't due his justice. He has the fuzziest fur. He is very thick built & is all muscle. He loves to play and sit in laps. I know that he will find himslef a good indoor home. He has a way of worming his way into people's hearts.

This is Sandy Paws. He is 2 years old. He loves people, getting petted, laps, people, & did I mention getting petted? He loves to take car rides, & will sneak in the car if given the chance. He spent one mornig at my granparent's house as I found him halfway to campus for class. He has taken more than one surprise trip. He will be staying with us unless someone requests him as a housecat.


Here's Zorro. He has light blue eyes & a cute little face! He has that Siamese look about him, although he is nowhere near purebred. He thinks he owns the place & the people on it. I know he has me well trained. He only like Eagle Pack canned food, not Merrick or Felidae. Nothing but Eagle Pack. I like to spoil the little guy. I know that his good looks will find him a good home. They have got an application approved for his sister who is already at the HS.

This is Cow. We were suffering from a lack of creativity on the day we named him. He looked like a cow in the pasture across the road, so he was named Cow. He is Brianna's(my little sister's) "boyfriend". He gives her kisses everychance he gets. I like him, but he is nowhere near as affectionate towards me as he is towards Brianna. I think he knows I like the housecats best. He will be staying with us as well. Brianna didn't think she could let him go, so here he will stay.

They're all beautiful, of course, but I am in loooove with Gabriel and Zorro!

Maybe there was a thread on this, and I missed it, but are these cats your outdoor kitties? Not that you can tell from the pictures, but they don't seem feral. Are they?

I'm glad you're getting them all fixed! When you say HS, is that for Humane Society?

I guess the upshot of all my questions is this...what's the story?

My parents have been letting the cats breed outside for years. Last year, they were going to get them all fixed, but dad had a slow time & they couldn't afford to. Now, we are working with the HS(Humane Society) to find new homes for them. Yes, they are outdoor cats. Some of them were at one point ferals, but most of them have been tamed down. There s post on it in Health & Nutriton called 'Unaltered barn cats'. I'm too lazy to go find it for you.

I took the first three females to get fixed this morning. Big Damita, Little Damita, & Cuddles were this morning's three. Here's Little Damita. I don't have any pics of Cuddles on the computer, yet.


How do you spell Gaberiel(or Gabriel)? He is such a little Angel that I named him after the Archangel. Too bad I don't know how to spell it.

Here's my two favorite & the two prettiest cats that were outside. Sophia is 3 years old. She is really scared at the HS, but she is so beautiful that I hope when soemone sees her they will take her home. She is the ugly one & her pictures aren't the best.

This is Pandora. She is 10 months old(an April Fool's baby from 2005). She has the most unique markings! She is settling in at the HS very well. She loves her toys. Someone filled out an app. for her & gto approved, but they can't take her for at least a week. If she is still there, they can take her home. Pandora is Zorro's sister.

Also, Gabriel is spelled like I spell it here. I love that name, though!
