Here's an experiment. When your cat is sitting in one place, try placing an object in front of him/her and see how long it takes before they play/knock/move the item.

In my case, it was the lens cap from my camera. It bugs Nakita to no end when I place something in front of her. She has to play/push/move the item in two seconds or less. Otherwise it invades her space.

Isn't that the funniest thing!! It's like putting a piece of candy in front of a child and telling them not to touch it.
Or a bowl of chips in front of my teenage sons and telling them that they are mine.

Nakita is gorgeous!

Another experiment is to see which paw you cat favors. Same general principle, put an object in front of them numerous times and see which paw they bat it with most often.

What can I say? I was bored one night.
