I was at work on Friday and it was around 65 degrees. I saw a dog in a car in the parking lot and there was no shade and the windows were barely down. I told the lady who owned the dog not to leave the dog in the car like that. It may be 65 degrees outside, but in the car it can get warmer, like in the 70's. The dog was panting heavily. I explain to the lady the dangers of heat stroke. The lady was understandable and thanked me for reminding her.
To all of you(the minority), let me remind you about not leaving your pets in the car during the summer months unless the air conditioner is running. Dogs and cats can overheat very easily!
