So occasionally I crave sushi....the funny thing about that is, I HATE it! I don't know why but when I see sushi, I want to try it again cuz it looks good, but a few bites into it, I want to gag....Today I was pet sitting by this upper class market that I've been in once, and decided to stop in and try their sushi...well, nope, still don't like it!!!
Anyone else like it?

Right here! :)
I love it!!!
My s/o sais I´m crazy (well, I might be a little, but we were not talking about that, were we? :p)
We get very fresh fish here in Iceland, and when I buy fresh haddog, I tend to eat quite some part of it raw before it gets as long as the frying pan or over or however I plan to cook it. I even have my 3 year old son hooked on it as well.
To try not to eat the famili´s dinner before I make it, I sometimes buy a little extra, for me to eat raw, yummie, such a candy!!! Even my s/o has started to buy some extra "candy" when he goes to the fish shops, as he knows how I really love this

Yep! We have some of the freshest around. Our salmon and halibut and whitefish come from icy cold waters and are DIVINE. Here, you can get sashimi and sushi lunch for about $5. I eat sushi about 3x per week. I don't know why I crave it. I think it's addicting!

I LOVE Japanese food in general. Some veggie tempura, udon noodle soup and sweet potato tempura maki...wow. I could eat it for every meal. If we're going carnivorous....love the dish tekka don. Sushi is really the only thing I miss since going veg.

I love sushi! Hadn't tried it until I married and moved to WA state, but once I tried it, it grew on me. I began with California Roll, and do have some that I do not like such as salmon, no raw tuna for me, do like orange roll where it is rolled in fish eggs. I suspect however, that most of what I am eating is not considered authentic sushi, but I have liked most of what I have tried so far...really like wasabi, and pickled ginger

I've been eating it since I was 5. Back in 1967 on Wells St in Chicago across from Second City, there was the only sushi restaurant in the entire city, and my father would take all 6 kids to dinner there. I was the only kid who knew how to eat with chopsticks in the first grade...

love sushi! Not so keen on the sashimi though. There are some I like, but others I can't handle the slimy rawness of.

Well, I only make veggie sushi (and I make quite edible tempura too, if I may say), but I used to love marinated raw salmon, it's a traditional festive food here.
