What is the best grooming tool for a DMH?

Missy gets matts if I don't brush her everyday, I currently use a brush and comb. She likes the brush and will sit there purring but hates when I use the comb.

Does anyone know if a zoom groom or grooming glove would do a good job, her fur is quite thick.

I haven't tried zoom groom, but I use a wide toothed comb to brush mine every day.

I think your gonna need the wide tooth metal comb to get matts out.
