Well the national groundhogs day observation is coming true. The weather pattern is returning to its seasonal nature and its been snowing big fluffy flakes and we have a good inch already.
But I have a dinner out this evening with my old coworkers and I wanted to wear my new shoes!!!! Oh well.
I probably will have to take the truck tonite instead of showing off the new car.
And I have an appt tomorrow about a landscaping job (I have it anyhow) and that might get cancelled. Then I'll have to go up to the farm to work!!!!
(blech!!)

Yup - I know what you're talking about!

We are getting 2 + inches of snow, rain/ice and blowing winds. I guess winter is back!

The roads are SO crappy - I can just imagine that work till be super busy on Monday now!

The weather here is taking a bit of getting used to from where I was living. There isn't one bit of snow on the ground!!, I hear though they we are expecting 6 inches over the next 48 hours so it might feel a bit more like the north!

We were going to leave today for a short trip, but thanks to Eddie and her weather fetish, we were told of a nasty storm bearing down on us. Had we left when planned, we would have been stuck in the mountain pass. So thanks E!!! We will stay home and batten down the hatches here.

In my area it is supposed to be 80 degrees, with clear, sunny skies all weekend.

Come on down.....

I wanted winter to come back for our annual snowmobiling trip, but now my mom just had neck surgery and we probably won't be able to go....
The important thing is she's ok, but this is a trip we sooo look forward to each year...Next year for sure!

If it makes you feel any better, I read that he's only right 37% of the time.

My weather forecast is about the same as yours is. I think we'll be in the upper 70's though, at least for the weekend. Extended forecast has it getting warmer towards the end of this coming week.

Minus 3 degrees C here, with a little snow on the ground, but serious fog, which is causing major headaches for would-be travellers (including me, whose flight was cancelled yesterday). Tomorrow it is supposed to get colder, down to -17 C overnight. But no-one knows when the fog will lift.

That's exactly what we got yesterday morning. And now this morning, the wind chill is 5 degrees below zero!!!
Eeeewwwwwwwwwwww!!!

After the warm spring-like weather we had in January, I'm just not used to it being this cold anymore!!!!

It's been a really warm winter here, though a little wet. Lots of rain, but not a ton of snow. Its supposed to cool down over the weekend though and get back to normal Chicago February weather. You know, freezing!!
