Picked one up last night since they usually sell there for $34.99. It didn't pour water over the entire fountain at first and rubbing it like the instructions say to do didn't help. I ended up adding more water by just dumping it on the dry spots of the globe and it works fine now. Cats seem to like it to drink out of and to play in.

Thought I'd let you know if you're interested. Our Meijer had them on sale so yours MIGHT too!

Mods, please move if this isn't in the correct place.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
for someone who is without a car of her own, Meijer is a nice thought, but... the nearest ones are way out of town. I'd have to use a car to get to them. so it's not worth it. I wouldn't mind getting one though... might entice my two to drink more water... on the other hand, they may get scared off by the running water bit. Strange little fuzzles I have.

Here... or There... Hmmm
Has anyone ever had any problems with this fountain clogging quickly with kitty fur? Or what if the cat puts a piece of food in the water part, will it get caight in the motor? I'd like to get one for Kitters! Just wondering if there are any downfalls.

Uuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm.....In MY house, the big downfall would be: there would NEVER be any water actually IN that thing, as my cats would spend ALL their time, swishing that darn water out onto the floor!!!!!

When I seen the title of your post, I was like, well I know there isnt a mejier store by me, but maybe I can order it from that store online. Nope...tried that. They arent selling it online.

I have been searching for a catit, or any drinking fountain for a while now, but cant find a good price. So when I seen your post, I was excited.
But Now Im not. Oh well....I dont think I will be driving all that way though. But thanks for that post, almost had me going to that store, but found that it is quite far away.

Maybe you could get me one, and send it to me?? just a thought, or would shipping be pretty expensive too? Cuz I'd for sure pay the 20 bucks for that anywhere, wish they had a store that was selling it by me for 20 bucks, I would definatly get one.

I was really excited about this thread, too! I have never heard of mejier, though.

I bought a Petmate fresh flow fountain for 19.99 from Petsmart.com. I think it was 25 or so with shipping. It works really well. Sturdy enough to withstand a cat trying to bathe in it.
