Kaylee and Teufel do Stuttgart!

First morning. There's a big black and white cat named Jamie growling outside the door, so we thought it would safest to find a very high perch:

Once we'd had some breakfast, it was play time. We love the Panic Mouse:


And the Boogie Mat is a lot of fun, too:

We explored the house this afternoon, while Jamie was sleeping in the living room, and will post more pictures later.

awwww, i kept in waking up to see if my babies were in the room, it looks like theyve settled in well!
What is that toy??? teufel seems to love it! ill have to buy one of those!

That's the Panic Mouse (which they can take back home with them). They were very quiet last night, and have been having a ball today. I wrote about their first day in the Lounge thread. Don't worry about them - they're having an adventure, it seems.

I did not realize how much Kaylee & my Dexter boy look alike.

Their markings & colors are very similar.
Both Kaylee & Teufel look like they are adjusting really well.

Seems like a fine adventure for Kaylee and Teufel!

Oh, Fran, I hope your trip goes well. How nice that you know the kitties are in good hands, but I am sure you are missing them terribly! I can't believe how big Kaylee is! I thought she was still just a baby.

It's nice that they are settling in so well. Hopefully, Jamie will accept them soon! So exciting to have one TCSer kitty sitting for another!

Day Two. These can openers get up really early. We had breakfast at 5:30 a.m., along with scritches, and had to stay by ourselves till after 2:00 p.m.. Then we were allowed out of "our" bedroom, while Jamie had to stay in the living room. It serves him right - he was allowed everywhere all day except our room, and he went out on the balcony, looked in at us, and growled and hissed at us.
It was nice today, so we were out on the balcony this afternoon, and then played in the master bedroom.

When its going to get warm we are going to fense the balcony too for the kitties

for Master Jamie for being such a gracious host cat ... Tueful and Kaylee look very happy.

Day Three. The can opener is having trouble with Photobucket today, so no new photos, except in the siggy. Today was pretty much like yesterday. We were allowed out of the spare bedroom in the afternoon, and played, after searching the house for our mommy. We really like the balcony. We also like Jamie's litterbox, and use it whenever we're outside the bedroom. Kaylee likes to play in the tub, and with the sliding doors on the wardrobe in the master bedroom. I prefer the Panic Mouse, which I'm going to take home with me, and to play on the big bed in the bedroom.

Tricia....I kept looking at their pictures for can openers.
I kept wondering, "why would the kitties need more then one can opener?"
Sometimes I can be slow on the draw. I just figured it out.

That's from the "Felidae" cat detective series, which is very popular here. One cat in the books calls humans "Dosenöffner", meaning tin or can openers, so most cat caregivers in Germany now refer to themselves as "Dosenöffner", or "Dosi" for short.
Fran, I think they're going to demand a secured balcony, and a staircase. They spend a lot of time racing up and down the stairs. They also like classical guitar music . when Robert plays, they sit and listen.

Its not really safe to use the stairs here at my house, maybe i will build them a stair cat tree how about that??
