In this thread, http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75640

I introduced you all to Limpy, a cheerful little bucket of purrs with a deformed paw. The neighbor's outdoor cat(who is a HUGE bully as far as other cats go) is becoming a huge pain with him, coming into our yard (which limpy barely leaves), to chase him up trees, fight him, and stalk him. It is now clearly obvious that his previous owners do not care about him at all, as no one has come by asking about him or anything, and in any case, many cute, healthy, non-deformed kittens will undoubtedly swamp this area starting within the next 2 months or so. Now he has a nasty-looking bite wound on that foot which is bloody and looks painful. it is very recent. He needs a new home. With people who don't see him as expendable. I'd keep him, but I've got my emotional and financial limit of fuzzy creatures, and other circumstances keep me from doing so. Someone has offered to take him, but they believe that neutering cats makes them mean, so no go on that one. Wish me luck.

Can you take him to a local shelter?
He is a good looking cat, wish I could help.

I know of a man that has cats in his horse barn.
He feeds them and they chase (or whatever) mice away.
Do you know anyone like that?

Yes, but as he's obviously got a lot of trouble hunting, I doubt he's the caliber of a working cat. Also, they'd be unlikely to neuter him. I am thinking that a shelter might be the best idea....
