Has anyone watched the new Cartoon Channel Adult Swim show Moral Orel? It is entirely too funny, although pretty darned offensive (which is why I put the post here). It's claymation, like those old bible stories and stars a young Protestant boy and his family. It basically pokes fun at fundamentalism. The last episode involved Orel going to a church service where the preacher said people who are dead are spitting in God's face because life is God's gift. He used the story of Lazarus to make his point. Orel then went out and resurrected a bunch of people from the grave, who of course became zombies.. and well.. it's really cheesy. He wanted to save them from sinning against God.
Best line-
Orel: "Dad, you are always right."
Orel's Dad:"I know son,that's why they call me dad... and not mom."
Or possibly kid 1: "That doesn't sound very protestant"
kid 2: "at least it isn't Catholic"
kid 1 sounding really scarred and shaking: "Ca Ca Ca Caaathhhooolic??!!?"
Best line-
