Sure hope everyone got their taxes filed

They showed the post office in Washington DC on the news just now, what a mess right before deadline.....

We always have H & R Block do our taxes. It's so quick and easy, it's really worth the money that it costs us.

I do mine the first week in February so I can get my money!

Usually I get ours done really early so I can get a refund back quickly. However, this year we owed them money because I had to dip into 401Ks when I was unemployed and they charge you something like 35% tax on that. Unfortunately there just wasn't any other way to keep a roof over our heads and food in our tummies. Anyway, since I owed them, I waited to send everything until yesterday, but I just put it in the regular mail. I never did understand the people who waited until the last minute to actually do their taxes.

Well good news for the UK (NOT) - Tax and National insurance are set to rise again tomorrow.... this is ridiculous, the more you earn the more they take - whats the point of pay rise if you don't see any of it!?!? How much money can they possibly need??!

Hubby and I had H&R Block do our taxes too. We already got our money back and we filed less than a month ago. Next year we are going to get Turbo Tax and do it ourselves.
