Greetings and a head bump to everyone here. I live in a very animated house with two neurotic dogs, three neurotic people, and four - well, cats. Sort of cats... Moe, a three year old Bombay/Burmese, came to us from Neptune, where he was (and is) obviously royalty. Just ask him. Ernie is his cat, he kept running away from the neighbors and coming here, so we made a deal and he stayed. He's two or so, mackerel, and sings and dances. Olive is a cousin of Ernie, about the same age as Ernie. She was starving when she came to our house (it has a big cat sign on it, I guess- they just know...
), and had been 'roughed up' (if you catch my drift...) by some neighborhood toms. (Remember that.) We are a very happy family, Moe and his wife and their cat. Well, about a month ago we rescued Henry from a Walmart parking lot. He is a Ragamuffin, adorable. He was starving to death, and the temp was in the low thirties, so i called him over, and the rest, if you know Ragamuffins, is history. He had an upper respiratory problem, and a scratched cornea, so obviously he had to be quarantined till the antibiotics did the work. He is much better now, but we are having some trouble with Miss Olive being afraid of his scent. I'll go put that in the right forum, though. For now, aloha from Arkansas.

WOW you saved a few cats huh!! That is great to hear, their little stories just made me soo sad. A temperature in the low 30's?! I didn't even know that was possible, the poor thing
Great description of your cats!!

That'd be one frozen 'moggy-rita'(at least I avoided a 'cool cat' joke there, sorry bout the pun but I am an addict!)... the pups are both oddities as well. One is a gentle, thoughtful howitzer named Gordie, sort of a lab mix. He was on his last day at the shelter when my landlord saved him. The other is a weird, horrible, out-of-control cross between a horse and a black thing, named Albert. She got him from some, erm, *expletive deleted*s at the same Walmart. They told her he was a border collie, although his feet at 2 mos were as big as mine... we still have a 'difference of opinion'
about that one...
