Anniversary Gift?

Hey everyone, I need some help! Tomorrow it will be 5 years since mine and Patricks first date. I already ordered him an out of print Picture Disk (a record with a picture on it, more for decoration) from E-bay, but it won't be here tomorrow. So I want to go get him something small so he will have something to open! Any ideas? We go to school in a small town, so not a lot of cool stores. Main ones to choose from- WalMart, TJ Maxx, most walgreens/CVS type places, Sam Goody....ummm just places like that. Not even a Target! Anyone have any good ideas that arent too expensive? I could always get him a DVD, or a stuffed animal, but what do guys do with stuffed animals? Haha! Anyways, any help appreciated!

Maybe a DVD and a card?


I always love it when Tara gets cute cards and writes in them.

Yup, unless I have a huge brain storm or a really great idea, thats what I'm planning on! He's a huge movie fan and tends to run out and by DVDs without telling me, so sometimes its hard to make sure I'm getting on he doesn't have! Thanks though, great to have a guys input (and to know you don't think we're silly for writing sappy things in the cards!)

I love getting cards. I don't know why. They're just so meaningful.

If he's got a cool car, get him something for that. If not, the DVD + card idea sounds good.

Thanks to you both! I just got back...I bought him a special edition double pack DVD (Ghostbusters), some cool boxers, and a card. The car thing would have been a good idea, but he is so picky I wouldn't have known what to get! I'll keep that in mind for Valentines Day though

Ohh I'm so excited y'all!! The Picture Disks that I ordered just arrived!!! I am SOO happy! I never expected them to get here this quick, so now he can open them tonight before dinner! Yippey!

Haha, also, Marlee got a piece of the packaging tape stuck to her and is presently running all over the house thinking something is attacking her. She won't stop long enough to let me get it off!
