John, amazing photos. Have you ever thought of selling them to a magazine or card company? You could use the money toward the care of your beautiful pets, or donate to an organization.
Yes, my wife and I have been thinking of doing this. We want to make cards, calendars and maybe just selling some pictures. All profit would be used at our friends sanctuary. I just need to figure out how to get this started. Not only does she house exotics there at the sanctuary, but she has close to 30 domestic cats as well and the number of domestic cats is climbing. She has 6 new kittens there, one with a broken leg, because he was tossed out the windo of a moving car
He is doing great however and will have a home as soon as his leg is healed. My wife brought a kitten home last night, a friend she works with adopted him

Wow... again I don't have words to describe how wonderful your babies are.

For some reason I didn't have a concept of how big Couger paws were.

You pictures really make me respect the boys, and their ancestors. When I look into Dr. Claw's eyes I see the same look your big boys give you!
This is so very true. Our domestics really aren't that domesticated at all. It is really funny to see a 150-200 pound cougar chase a rope or play with a large plastic ball, the very same way our domestics chase a string or play with a small cat toy. They roll on their back, with the toy in their paws, kicking it with their back feet the very same way or domestics do. And they purr too!! But, cougars are the largest cat that can purr. Lions and tigers can not purr, but they too, do the same things our domestic cats do

-le gasp!- Zomg, I absolutely love cougars! I used to live in FL and I've seen a full grown wild one up close. Not too close of course! What's going to happen to him when he gets full grown?

How cool, I would love to see a wild cougar
What's going to happen to him when he gets full grown?? He is going to continue to be loved and spoiled as he is now
He's going to live a full, healthy and happy life with us of course

If you can design them, try looking at Lulu.com for the printing part. I'm 'publishing' my book there, but they do all kinds of things, including calendars and such... uploading is free, but the designing aspect must already be done... then they only print what's ordered, as it's ordered.

If you don't want to do the design aspect, there's plenty of folks here who could help, myself included.

I posted a pic of myself in FP with a Serval cub a week or so ago... I think he was a Serval... but he was so soft and sweet (although he was being a typical cub... very kittenish)...

Cool, I will have to check that out. I am not that good at designing however, but we will see what we can do

You could try using Photoshop. I think the Adobe website has a 30-day trial that you can try out. I'ts quite nifty.

So as far as things stand we will be headed up to visit Carmelo and the gang on Wednesday. I'm sorry we won't get to meet you this visit, John, but hopefully at another visit.

I'm really looking forward to seeing all the various cats and will try to take lots of pictures to share with everyone.

Thanks for the update John. As always I'm in awe at how beautiful all of your babies are. Looks like Carmelo is basically fully grown now. He doesn't have any more spots and he has started to gain a few features that make him look more mature. And the fact that he is interested in Beja is a sign of maturity.

You're welcome
Don't tell my wife you don't see any spots, she will say, yes he does, on his legs. He's still a cub
Yes, you can see it in his face. He is getting a very mature look to him. He is 2 years old now, his birthday was June 15th, but for my wife and I, he will always be our little cubby

Carnelo's birthday was the 15th? You should have reminded us so we could have had a virtual party for him!
And he's two years old already?

I know I should have said something earlier...sorry
I had been on night shift these past few days and that sort of messes you up a little. But we can always have a party
Yes, he is 2 years old, I can't believe it myself.

Devlyn, how was your visit? I hope you had a good day. I will be leaving here in just a few minutes, to spend the day with my boy Carmelo and the rest of the big cats at the sanctuary. I do have a big surprise for everyone to see very soon. I have another friend who has lived with exotic cats now, for about 25 years or so. Some of his cats, also live at our friends sanctuary, the 2 cougars Shawnee and Deja and the Eurasian Lynx Montana. He moved his cats to the sanctuary, until he could relocate near there. Well a few months ago, he moved and is ready to bring his other cat home. I am not going to say what type of cat this is, but his name is Rowdie
We may be bringing Rowdie home tonight, but that depends on a few things. So, be prepared for some new pictures of a very gorgeous and handsome boy named Rowdie. I just finished breakfast, I have my camera ready and I am ready to go. Carmelo, I will be there soon big boy, to give you all the love you deserve and Rowdie, I sure hope today is the day, you come home. Rowdie, what type of cat are you? Hmmm, I know there is a domestic breed and many people have them here, that has the same name as you. Well, I should say, you are a specific breed of cat, that there are a few different varieties of and this domestic breed shares the same name. Hmmm, can anyone guess? Of course, I won't say who makes the right guess, until I post pictures of Rowdie. Maybe I should say, whoever gets it right first, gets to kiss Carmelo on the nose
