Sick Kitty Cat...Help

I know this sounds dumb but my cat keeps rubbing her butt on the floor and meowing. She is 8 years old and has never done this before. She is an indoor cat. Can anyone help me? I think she might be sick....

One of two things is probably the problem. She either has impacted anal glads, which just need to be expressed by the vet or she may have tapeworms. Tapeworms come from ingestion of fleas. Either one requires a trip to the vet. Its a pretty usual situation, so dont panic too much. Let us know what you find out.

Thanks Sandie, I'm taking Bliss to the vet tomorrow on my lunch break. I was really worried something was very wrong with her. She's my best bud.
