Hi all, I posted my intro over at the Introductions board, and here are my cats! We rescued them from the shelter together and brought them home the same day. They're unbelievably well-behaved, they scratch nothing but the scratching post (they will scratch RIGHT THROUGH sisal rope) and play with nothing but what we let them. They get along great, with the exception of a VERY rare spat between them.
This is Patches:
She's 4 1/2 years old and she's been with me since she was 6 weeks old. She is the sweetest animal I've ever met in my life, and I truly believe that she was put on this earth to be with me. She constantly is by my side-- if I'm making a lap, she has to be on it! She's very very vocal and active, she loves to play fetch with plastic lizards! This is one of the best pics I have of her-- she's not very photogenic.
And this is our big smoosher, Mrs. Cheese:
Look at that belly! Don't you just want to smoosh it?
She's a big fat lazy sweetheart, she'll be 5 years old next month. She's got the loudest purr I've ever heard.
