Have you checked your local Humane Society or Shelter?

I'm also concerned about how the other two might react. They haven't been apart since the day we got them and are a lot bigger now. We are going to be looking for a smaller kitten probably. I'm concerned about how the other two might act towards the newbie if we get one. Anybody have experience in having two cats and then adding a 3rd kitten?

I don't know how old your two are, but I'd say go for it! It took Twitch 3 months to fully warm up to Lily, now they race around terrorizing the house! The best time to introduce a kitten is before the resident cat(s) are a year old. They seem to be more receptive then. I would definately consider looking into a Humane Society. If you want to come visit me I'd love to help you pick out a kitten(or two, maybe three...)!

They are about 9 weeks now probably. I am just concerned about having an odd number of 3. I don't want two to get along great but not at all with the third one.

I also think that two is enough for right now.

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
There are a million threads on here with advice on how to introduce your resident cats to new ones. People provided fantastic advice for me when I did this. If you search you will find everything you need to know. You can't have had your current kittens very long if they are only 9 weeks though?

I vote for visiting your local shelter or humane society. There are so many animals there that need homes

We've only had them about a month or month in a half now. We got them from a Pet Store. We walked in and there were about 6 of them in a big cage, all too young to be away from their mother. So we went ahead and got two of them. I'm glad we did, they are a lot of fun.

We ended up surfing the petfinder site and found TONS of cats. We are thinking about going to our local shelter on Saturday to look around.

Thats so bad that the pet shop were selling them, makes me sad. At least they got a good home. Good luck in your search, Im sure you'll have no problems because your kittens are so young.

I think that somebody actually dropped them all off. They were free, but were very young and flee infested. Luckily we were able to take care of them right away and I would like to think they couldn't be happier.
