I've got 4 cats already and my kids definitely want an orange one - so I can't take this little girl in too. That would be 6 cats! My home is only 1500 sq ft. Not very big.

What do I do??

I'm torn! My family already thinks I'm nuts. (This is why I can't visit the shelter!!)
For those of you who have been following my other thread - yeah - ummm.... I caved.....

I knew I would. It was a given. Thanks for stopping me!
(insert sarcasm here).
Anyways - she comes home with me tomorrow. She's 18 months and very petite, although you wouldn't know it by the amount of fur she's got. As if I don't have enough fur in my home already - she's a DLH. She is beautiful though and soooooo sweet!!!!

She came from a home with 4 other cats and 3 kids so as the shelter said - it will be just like going home for her. I'm very excited!!
But a little nervous too
- I hope all my babies love her - my furbabies and my teenage babies......
I'll post pics as soon as she comes home and we will need help with a name. Her name is Bea and I'm not sure I like that. She just doesn't look like a Bea.

According to my husband... the zoo
Congrats! What a lucky little kitty to be rescued... and that makes one more space available for another needy cat - so don't feel too bad.

looking way forward to pics. My daughter has always wanted an orange kitten/cat, but we've never had one - had every other color under the sun, but never orange.

Thanks! Except this one is not orange. The orange one was what I was looking for when I found this little one. This one is gray. We're still looking for the orange one.

Thanks! That's actually one we're considering. I'm going to wait though until my girls get to see her and I can get her pic up here. I'd like input from people since everyone here at this site seems to come up with the most beautiful and original names for their cats.
(Good thing I've got that little bit of room at the end of my siggy!)

How about Butter to go w/ Peanut? Sticks or Sticky to go with Pebbles? Milky Way or Kit Kat to go with Snickers? lol I couldn't think up anything to go with Zoey though.

Looks like you just might have to keep going to the shelter until you find that orange kitten. You might have a hundred cats by then, though.
I have a hard time not taking anyone home with me, too.

If you went back to get her after being shut out the night before, she was meant to be with you!
Good luck

They were thrilled (they actually always are - they're like me - they love furbabies). Obviously I was told we still need the orange one to round out our home, so I guess 6 is going to be our lucky number...

We did think about things that went with our names now - but we already call peanut - peanutbutter alot! so that one would be out. Zoey's name came from Sesame Street, so plenty to choose from there.
I think once we spend a little time with her we'll come up with something. The kids haven't even seen her. She doesn't come home till tomorrow.
Of course once I post pics I'll be looking for help here too... so keep em comin.

As for the orange kitten - I will NOT be doing my searching AT the shelter
- I will search online where it's safe.

Movin' on up!
How about "Karma"? That's probably what led her to you.

When I went looking for a black cat, I kept being drawn back to a long-haired tuxedo. Buddy had such a sweet expression and a cute little squeak. Oh, well, he's MOSTLY black!
