Chasey has only three stuffed toys. She has "Mousey Mouse", a little pink soft toy I drag around with a string, "FiFi" a grey mouse styled more like a teddy bear and ½ her size, and an unwanted blue Star Wars beanie thing that I passed onto her, which was already named. I think it comes from having 3 sisters and young cousins. I used to help them name their stuffed toys too. If I'm playing with Chasey, I usually mention the name of the toy.
Do you?

Old thread featuring Chasey and FiFi

My names are rather lame-Mr. Hippo for the purple hippo, Mr. Mouse for the dalmation-spotted mouse, etc.

Hmm...the boys don't actually have any stuffed toys yet...they're a little finicky, and only like the cheapo things like the scraps from my blanket, and feathers! Oh, and pipe cleaners, Billy's favorite toy. Any stuffed toys will probably get names if and only if they get played with!

When I first got Gandalf, I bought him a stuffed dog toy that was around his size (He was a kitten you know. ) so he could rabbit kick it and not my arm. I would play with him by moving the pig around and going GRRRRR. So the pig's name is GRRRRR. Gandalf still likes the thing and rests on it occassionally.

Other than that no, I dont' name their toys. There are too many to name.

Some of her toys have names, but not all of them. Her favorite is "Big grey mouse must die". If you saw her play with it, you would understand.
Aaron and I both call it that. I think he is actually the one that names it. We also have "limey" - a catnip lime. Balls are all "Ballies" . The ball with the bell is "jingley".

they have several stuffed cats, which i've named. the other toys are not recognizable as anything [balls, fur puffs, etc] so they don't have names. a few things came w/names - honeysuckle snake, jingleworm.
i also like cheese flavored things, but didn't realize it was a multiple choice poll!

"GRRRRR" Nice name!
FiFi was introduced because of the exact same reason; to keep Chasey from playing with my arm.
Now she only licks FiFi.

The stuffed toys in our house aren't for playing. They are gifts that Ophelia brings us. She usually leaves them on the bed during the day for us to find at night, but sometimes she will bring them out to the hall and meow LOUDLY (which is pretty funny when she still has the toy in her mouth!) until we go out and thank her for the present. So yes, they have names so we can thank her specifically for "Shmoo" or "Bear" or whatever else she brings.

Lex likes to fetch so I'll say "Go get green mouse!" Or whatever colour the nearest toy mouse is.
I also get them hyped when I say "Wanna play Cat Dancer?!". They love it.

Cute! I don't think Chasey recognizes any phrases like that.

Teufel loves his balls, They are these spongy cat balls and he absolutely loves the blue ones. I only have to say "wheres da ball?" and he will lead me to it so we can play catch.
Kaylee has her favourite mouse, out of 1,000 of them she only has this ONE favourite and its all broken

We have the "banana" which yes is a banana shaped catnip toy which is really gross looking. And the cheese wedges, and the mousies some of which are called "don't bring that dead mouse into the house!!" The others are nameless.

LOL We have a catnip cigar, but the little band came off a long time ago. It looks like a big turd on the living room floor.

"You people are crazy!"

That's what I voted for, but I DO name some of my dog's toys. One is Mr. Ducky, another is Snowman Dude. Yep......

All the mice have names. Red Mouse, Blue Mouse, Yellow Mouse, Gray Mouse, etc! Then there is Baby the stuffed cat formerly on a string. Nothing else is named. Except the fish of course, they have names.
