hey guys, as promised here are the photo's

she is soooo adorable
and she follows me everywhere, i put her in her makeshift pouch thinking she'd go to sleep but i soon heard a chittering noise so i went into the loungeroom and she was out of her pouch looking for me, she also likes to grab my hair and chew on it but her claws tickle
she's on my lap at the moment in her pouch because she gets upset when she's left alone, she's like a shadow lol

she's just so sweet

i hope you like the photos

Awwwwwwwwwww, how ADORABLE!!!
I just said that out loud and freaked out Mik!

She sounds like such a sweet little baby! It does look like she loves attention. How sweet.

How big is she? She looks pretty big to be sitting on your lap.

i so wish i could keep her lol but i know she will be better off in the wild, Vanessa isn't releasing her here because of the roo shooters but is taking her to a national park where she will be safe

i will only have her for five nights but i'm going to miss her a lot when she has to go....not as much as vanessa will miss her though, she has to look after china for a whole year before she can be released, i know it will break her heart, she's already attatched.

So, is she very big or small? I can't tell too much from the pics. She looks pretty big though, especially for your lap.
What's the pouch like that she sleeps in?

she's a little taller than a ruler when she's standing, when she lays she's about as long as a small cat, she fits in my lap quiet well but she's all legs

she has a habit of sucking on her small toe, i think it's like a security thing for her or she thinks she can get milk from it

her pouch is just a pillow slip, all i have to do is hold it open and she hops toward it then does an army roll into it so she ends up on her back in the pouch

i just gave her some milk in her bottle and she's gone to sleep, i had to put her in the bedroom because she'll just keep on getting out to follow me, i just feel so sad for her because she lost her mum and she's so young still, you can tell she misses her mum and treats people as substitute parents, i wish people would just leave kangaroo's alone

You lucky, lucky thing for being able to be her caregiver for a while!

I'd love to see a picture of her in her pouch!! I bet she looks adorable with those big soft eyes of hers!!

thanks guys

i took her into the yard this morning and she was so funny, she follows you everywhere so my husband ran around the yard and she jumped after him, she woke me up for her breakfast at around seven this morning lol, after her time outside she got all tired and is sleeping in her pouch at the moment.

here's a photo of me feeding her so you can see how big she is

She is sooo cute! She's a lot bigger than I imagined. Can you get a shot of her in her "pouch" for us? What do you feed her? what do the cats make of her?

your right, she is a red kangaroo
and she's very loving, when i go in to feed her she makes a chittering noise, hops up to me and puts her paws around my arms, legs or hands

i'll post a photo of her in the pouch, she was in it in the feeding photo i posted but you couldn't see it that great. i feed her Biolac M150, it's a mid lactation milk for marsupials, it comes in powder form and i have to mix a heaped scoop of it with 100mls of water, she gets fed every three to four hours and has 60mls of milk each time.

i don't allow bonnie near her but pandy has seen her, she tried to stalk her even though china's bigger than pandy
she was a little scared of her too, probably thinking what is that mum??

i wish it was legal to keep them, it amazes me that people can shoot them and there are thousands of kanagaroo's, yet we can't keep them as pets

What does she think of Pandy, or is she oblivious?
she's very curious about pandy, she sort of crawls towards her with her ears forward and tries to sniff her, i think it freaks pandy out a bit
