So, I have been feeling..how shall we put it...insanely uncomfortable lately, so I went in to the doctor. I had to get a blood test (routine for people who have imbalances like me) and THEN I had to get a urinalysis. I was already sitting in the examining room thinking "Hmmm, I feel like my cats" when they came back with the diagnosis...I have a UTI!

These things are probably the most annoying and uncomfortable thing you can get. I wouldn't wish this on ANYONE!

Now I know how our kitties must feel...poor babies. I'm going to be in bed for a couple days. Ugggghhhhhhh. Except for having to get up every 5 minutes.

But otherwise, I am healthy! I am 64.5 inches tall and I weigh 118 pounds, meaning I somehow lost weight without noticing or trying (good, I guess!), and my blood pressure is 98/60. Any my fasting blood glucose is inching up back towards normal, so maybe I'll stop having fainting spells one of these days.

Ugh. Someone pass the bactrim and the cranberry juice!

Ugh, UTIs suck! Yeah, knowing what one feels like, makes me really sympathetic to animals with possible UTIs. If they're a client of ours, we give them antibiotics right away (with the correct symptoms of course) if we can't see them till the next day or so, just to ease their discomfort. A day or two on meds and you should feel better. Yep, cranberry juice really works too.

Oh gosh, those are the worst! I hope you feel much, much better with the antibiotics. I wouldn't wish one of those on my worst enemy. Oh, and you might want to do some yogurt to balance out those antibiotics. Hugs!

Yep! And my doc said it would help me with yeast infections as well.

Oooh, doubly tempting...how much is your dose? And do I take it WITH antibiotics or after I'm done with them?

Oh, I'm a bad girl, I don't take it any more, but I think it was 1 pill in the morning. I found that if I don't eat sugar I don't get yeast infections!

This might sound weird...but it cured my UTI's (yes...plural! ugh). I drink beer...i have a few pints of beer (so that i really actually do have to pee) and I find it's the quickest way to flush all the crap out!! Sounds odd but it cut the pain by about 80%

I wonder if whiskey would work... a couple glasses of Jameson on the rocks... sounds like heaven.

if it was only that simple. I think it's the fact that beer makes you pee alot that helps...(with the added benefit of the alcohol to numb everything!). So if you wanted to have a few pints of beer with a whiskey chaser...hey..it just might work!!
