I'm new to the forums. :3 I joined mostly so I can learn more about cats- I know more than the average Joe, but my feline knowledge isn't up to par with my canine knowledge, and I want to remedy that! I have three cats, Monster, Ewu, and Puck.
Monster is seven years old, and she is my perfect angel. I got her when she was only 2 1/2 weeks old, and so she thinks I'm her mom! I've never had a bond with any animal like I have with Monsty, and I don't think I'll experience it again. She's only ever spent two nights away- It was a nightmare for both of us! Monster is very, very animal aggressive, so it was hard to introduce her to my other kitties when I got them. She does fine now, though! She was extremely people aggressive when she was younger, often attacking anyone who came to the house, but she is doing better now. She even lets some strangers touch her! Monsty would never, ever hurt her mama, though. :3 She lets me do anything- Sometimes she'll growl when I'm holding her paws or something, but she always does it while licking me!
Ewu is about a year and a half old. We rescued Ewu from a kitten mill which was closing down. She's a purebred Persian, but she's also mentally disabled, probably because of poor breeding. Ewu is also incapable of carrying her tail properly, and she has VERY bad teeth. While she may not be the smartest kitty out there, she's a very affectionate little cat. She's more of a Daddy's girl, but she loves her mama too. She has a sweet little "mrrrrow" of a voice. Ewu likes to lay in sinks and boxes, she's such an odd little cat! Sometimes she can be frustrating, because she has a hard time telling right from wrong, but we love her anyway.
Puck is around ten or eleven months old. We're not precisely sure which, because I found him crying outside my apartment when he was a baby. He was a tiny, malnourished thing, with sunken eye sockets and prominent ribs. D: He has grown to be a 13lb giant! He's not fat at all, just huge! He's also become a complete mama's boy. I am not allowed to be in the bathroom without him, he cries and cries if I shut the door. He sits on the edge of the tub and "protects" me while I'm taking a shower. After the shower, he jumps on my shoulders and licks my hair dry! He loves to snuggle with me, and lets me play with his toes, ears, and lips without any protest.
