Six, that I can think of. In 3 of those, my vehicle was hit and I wasn't even in it or anywhere NEAR it! The other 3 times, people banged into me.

Two really... first one was when I was passenger in my friends truck, he ran into some car stop at a redlight. I was partially at fault, because I grabbed at the wheel when he was turning. Second was me in my Mustang right into the back of a tow dolly. Tore up the front bumper, but it's all good now. I've also run into about 3 curbs... One rim was hurt in the process.

When I was 15 I cut class with an older friend, and when we left town, she let me drive her car on a rural, gravel road.

Well, to make a long story short, I stupidly began swerving all over the road, lost contol, and the car landed in the deeper of 2 ditches. Neither of us were injured, but the front of the car was totalled. So, someone drove by and picked us up, and we returned to school, where were punished for skipping class. We decided to keep the car secret between us for quite a while, as it would have been worse off for both of us if we told our parents what happened. They did find out eventually, but nothing happened. I did some REALLY stupid things when I was a teenager.

That is the only accident I have been in to this point.

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
I wrote off my mums car 2 years ago. Driving along an icy road at 8am, the rest of the road wasnt icey but this part was covered by trees and hadnt melted yet, the car just lost control and I tried to fix it but there was no hope, I eventually took my hands off the steering wheel and accepted that I was going to die. I actually wasnt afraid, until the car stopped. I don't really remember much after that but the car had rolled over because the roof was all bashed in. I got taken to hospital and I was lucky to walk away from it, and that nobody else was involved. Sometimes it keeps me awake at night

I know I'm a lucky girl though and my best friend who died in a tragic accident earlier that same year was watching out for me big time, theres no other explanation.

I have had two. Both times someone pulled out in front of me and I couldn't stop. The first time was not too bad. The second time totalled my car and hurt my knees.

2 here.
First one was in my BRAND NEW 2001 Dodge Stratus. I had it 6 months when I was pulling out of my oldest son's daycare (he was then 3 ) and some teenage girl talking on her cell phone went across 3 lanes of traffic and hit me. It took the whole front end of the car off and pushed me into the front yard of the daycare! Thank goodness no one was hurt, including me (who was 6 months pregnant) or my son. She got the ticket, I lost my car
it was totalled.
2nd one I was driving when a drunk driver swerved in my lane and to keep him from hitting me, I swerved and the shoulder of the road caught my tires and I hit a concret sewer drain in a ditch. I was doing about 50miles and hour too. That one DID hurt. 4 broken ribs, fractured ankle, sprained wrist, and back problems to this day... they never found the drunk guy. He just kept going!

One - I was rear-ended once in a snowstorm.

Oh wait - I did graze a moose once. No damage to car or moose. Does that count?

1. While waiting in a turn lane to get onto the road, a 60 year old man came careening up the turn lane (illegal) and hit me head on. I was sitting still. Tore up the front of my 300ZX. I was 21 yrs old & hysterical. Not hurt, but scared because I knew my then-husband would get mad that "I" wrecked the car.

2. While coming to a stoplight, slowing down, the lady in a minivan next to me "didn't see me" and got over, right into my passenger side. She said she was sorry and I got myself a new fender & door.

3. Slid on some ice, all by my onesies, outta control, into a concrete barrier... oops... major owwie to my head & broke the wheel off the car when I hit the concrete.

4. Got rear-ended on the way home from work. The roads were wet so that means, everyone forgets how to use their brakes. Got the car painted & repaired for free.

So, 4 wrecks, and only 1 was my fault. Not too shabby!

I don't really consider myself having any accidents because I didn't report them, but technically I'd say 2.

(1) I was either 16 or 17, cut class to go shopping an hour away in my moms car with my old hs bf. I attempted to back into a parking space next to a giant cement wall, and cut it wayy too close and took off the passenger side mirror, part of the door, etc, before i realized what that awful noise was.. lol. I drove around like that for about a year then paid out of pocket to get it fixed.

(2) I was driving down a hill in the snow and skidded into a ditch. Only damage was to my rim and tire. I got a new rim the next day and it was fine.

I put 3 but it depends on the accident definition.
In 1988 DH & I were coming back home after grocery shopping and a full size ford van pulled out in front of us. As we didn't want to swerve as we didn't know if anyone was in the other lane we braced for impact as we were going 55 mph and hit the van at about 35 mph. We had a Merc Sable and we spun the van around. Our front end was smashed (7K damages back then) No injuries except bruises and general soreness. The driver of the van admitted he was at fault as he turned his head to the back of the van while pulling out!! The groceries were in the trunk and kind of smashed up!!
I had a lady hit me at the mall (same car) and 2 people have rear ended me.
No damage on one and the other I was stopped in the explorer and a guy bashed into me-he had lots of damage -the explorer they replaced a $70 part to be safe and I had 6 weeks PT for my neck. I went in the ditch twice in the winter with an explorer too-black ice and the other was a person lost control of his truck so I took the ditch to avoid hitting him!!

I forgot I took out our mailbox last spring with the truck-turned to short into the driveway!!

I've only been in one car accident, and I wasn't even in the car at the time, so I don't think it counts! Someone hit my car while it was parked at Walgreens, and my Corgi Solomon was in the front seat. He was terrified. When I came back he gave me this look that seemed to say "THIS IS YOUR FAULT FOR LEAVING ME ALONE IN HERE!!!" poor baby.
They never caught the person who hit my car, even though there were several witnesses. Luckily no one was hurt.

I've only ever had one. Although I'm not too sure if this counts.

It was about two months ago and my friend Steph came over and picked my friend Catherine and I up and we decided to go to the supermarket. She had only ever driven a manual car three or four times. We told her to park in an isolated place so she wouldn't have to worry about bumping into any other cars, so what does she do! she goes to park right between the two flashest cars in the car park and she looses controls of the wheel and drives right into one. Idiot.
