So I was looking at my kitty eye tonight and he has like a cloudy spot on his eye. Its a small little circle and then I saw a blood blind going across it on the side. Any idea what that could be? I called my vet and left a msg about it. He is only about 3 yrs old.

I'd think an ulcer is infinitely more likely.

if so, then its very treatable.

sounnnnnds like some kitty is going to the vet

Depends how bad it is. Could be anything from just eye ointment, to sedating him, making little cuts on the ulcer to help it heal, suturing the eye closed except for a little hole, and then you put drops into the hole for about 10-14 days, and then have it rechecked.

I think an ulcer is most likely. Whatever the problem is, he'll be fine with treatment. You did the right thing by making a vet appointment.

Poor Freddie
Is it possible another kitty popped him in the eye therefore causing the ulcer? I hope it is easily treatable, and he's better in no time.

Maybe they were playing and one used their claws on Freddy's eye... Boomer did it to Magnum when he was a kitten - he has this little white spot on his eye as a scar from it
