Yes. That is a form of spamming. it's against the rules of most forums.
Ok so Ryan already answered your question but thought I'd add-
The point of joining here is to contribute to the board, not try to get the most posts and be higher in the ranks or just to try to post a lot so you can have certain features on here. Those will come in time, in the the meantime enjoy your time here and be patient!
